Remembering Being a Doormat to Others

A young man I met who is soooo apologetic and awkward socially reminded me of me at 18 years of age. I remember apologizing all the time. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." It was said by me, because I thought so many things that went wrong were my fault. I was hypersensitive, yet in an unhealthy way for me.

If someone dropped something on the floor...I somehow thought I caused this mishap! As they say in Hebrew....Oiy Va Voiy!!!

The tie-in to depression is this....everything can not be one person's fault --- the good stuff or the bad stuff. IMPOSSIBLE!
