A Pic is Worth a Thousand Words

The form ELATION takes will be interpreted by each viewer. It is unnecessary to digest the experience for you. You don't need to ask an artist what it is that s/he created.

Ask yourself instead, WHAT IS THIS? WHAT DOES IT SAY TO ME? Use all six senses--include the mind. Walk on and around the sculpture, inside it and outside it and what do you find? Though the concept of ELATION comes from an inner struggle to show the pathway to elation from depression, the installation piece ELATION will be what you construct.

Do not ask it to be explained by another. Just feel what you feel and trust yourself. In "200l: A Space Odyssey", the monolith lands, a black rectangle. What is it?
