Oh, neglected blog, I am sorry.
I have been busy with this thing called life.
And you are my refuge from it.
It is what I do when I am not hiding in the corners of my mind.
Mind you, I love you and all the times we've spent together,
However, we are growing apart.
Perhaps becoming healthier and more aware of our needs.
I have revealed to you some of the secrets I never would tell before.
Now, I have opened up a door to outside.
And, you my dear, are my inside.
Don't worry
I will be back
With new tales to tell.
I am growing up somehow
Moving on, but I will never forget you.
You are written in the bright light of zeros and ones.
You are not a zero.
You are a number one.
I drink to you Elation.
I promise your creation will continue in a new dimension.
However, now I must sleep and dream a book
The Education of a Mime in silence.
I entered a writing contest for The Leonard Lopate Show on WNYC to write a six-word memoir. Here's mine:
My Six-Word Memoir
Struggling actress talking,
Stroke,
Re-learned walking.

Nancy, don't neglect this blog too long. You don't have to be writing about Elation (and I think it is perfectly okay for you to take more time with it), just write about you. That would be great. Love you Nancy!

Kate,
Thanks for your comment. I am thinking of starting a new blog focused on writing, yet including other art forms, such as painting. Elation will continue to be about the project and dealing with the ups and downs of life.
Nancy
what a beautiful post.
I know all too well where you are coming from.
here is a link that keeps me sane knowing other people are there too...
BWO
hellophotokitty,
Hi!!! Great name, by the way...
I was so happy to get your comment. It's been a while. I really liked the link to BWO. I didn't realize so many thought they were neglecting their blogs. I have often kept a journal that I could put in a drawer (still do), but blogging is for others to read and so I was worried to let others down...anyway...glad you wrote and related to this and glad to reconnect with you.
Nancy
